Australian Skilled Migration

Australian General Skilled Migration (GSM) visas are designed for the purpose of targeting and addressing genuine skills shortages in Australia. The intention of the GSM program is to usher in highly employable skilled professionals for provisional or permanent residency in Australia. GSM is the most commonly used form of migration to Australia.
According to the new framework for the eligibility assessment that was introduced in July 2018, a candidate must acquire a benchmark minimum of 65 points in order to qualify. The 65-point benchmark calculation is comprised of a breakdown of various categories such as;
- Age
- Qualification
- Skills and Work Experience
- English Language Testing Results (i.e. IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, OET or CAE)
- Partner English language and Skills
